Product Description

Pantosaurus can’t wait to wear his new pants. Dinodad says they’ll give him special powers! But, when Pantosaurus has a problem at school, will his super pants give him the power to speak up?

This bright and playful picture book is perfect for reading with younger children. Not only will they love Pantosaurus the dinosaur and his roarsome story – it can also spark conversations to help keep them safe.

We’ve partnered with Penguin and Ladybird to create a brand new Pantosaurus book for children. This fun and important storybook will help families and schools have simple conversations to help keep children safe from abuse – in an engaging, visual way.

Parents told us that they would love to see a book about Pantosaurus, and we were determined to make that happen. So, on 2 February 2020, we launched our first ever crowdfunding campaign to create a book about Pantosaurus – to give parents and teachers an easy, natural way to start talking PANTS. Thanks to our amazing supporters, we raised £46,440 to help us create this essential book and work towards our ambition – to get the Pantosaurus book into every primary school that we visit, providing an essential resource to help protect children.

With the help of our much-loved friendly dinosaur, Pantosaurus, children aged between 4-8 will learn all about the powers that PANTS give Pantosaurus to speak out; helping children learn the PANTS rules at their own pace while giving parents, carers and teachers a fantastic tool to support them through this topic in a child-friendly way.

This book was made possible due to the generous support of NSPCC crowd-funders - and our partners Matalan and Blakemore Retail - who are selling the book in selected stores. All profits from the sale of this book will support the NSPCC’s vital work preventing abuse and protecting children.

Everything we do protects children today and prevents abuse tomorrow, to transform society for every childhood.

That’s why we’re here and that’s what drives all of our work. But it’s only possible with your support.

All profits and donations will help us fight for every childhood.
