The Letter From Santa Campaign
Lindt is helping 25,000 children this Christmas
To make Christmas magical for even more children, Lindt is partnering with the NSPCC's Letter From Santa campaign and pledges to donate £100,000 to the charity this Christmas. In the seasonal spirit of giving, and with your support, Lindt hopes to make Christmas 2019 a little more magical for thousands more children across the UK.
For every special edition Lindt Teddy 200g Green Jumper product that is purchased online or through Lindt stores, Lindt will donate £1 to support the NSPCC* whilst supporting its Letter From Santa campaign
Christmas is a special time for most children, full of fun, gifts and quality time with their family. However, this is not the case for all children across the UK. The NSPCC helps thousands of children throughout the festive season which, for them, remains a time of difficulty and loneliness. That is why services like Childline are important. The NSPCC's trained counsellors are there to support young people with any issue they're going through, no matter how big or small.
It costs £4 to answer a call to Childline. Donations from Lindt in 2018 helped the NSPCC answer 25,000 calls from vulnerable children.
For many children and their families, receiving a letter from Santa is one of the most special traditions of Christmas. The NSPCC's Letter From Santa campaign has been enchanting children for seven years and allows families for a small suggested donation, to request a beautifully illustrated and personalised letter to be sent to their child from Santa.
In 2018 over 220,000 children received a festive letter personalised for them. The donations raised help the NSPCC to continue to change children's lives and fight for every childhood.
* Lindt will donate £1 to NSPCC for the first 35,000 units of Lindt Teddy 200g Green Jumper sold from Lindt shop online and Lindt stores and a further £25,000 through other fundraising activities.
